Dear friends,
We recently had a call from a mother who told us that she spiked a fever every time she pumped. We discussed this, and none of us have ever encountered this in our experience.
Has anyone else encountered a similiar situation? Is there any literature to show this? This mother claims her temperature rises to about 104 degrees? We also wonder about that claim......... This *only* happens when she is pumping. Could the release of oxytocin cause a rise in temperature?
We are all curious.
Warmly,
