"In response to the thread about mothers who cannot tolerate putting their
babies to breast..... has anyone read about this being the result of
unresolved grief over child or pregnancy loss?"
Grief that is insufficiently expressed can impact many aspects of life,
including social relationships and physiological functions. It is entirely
possible that it could do so such that breastfeeding is affected. I know of
no studies--if someone else does, please let me know.
