Christy, no matter what happens, the mother will grieve, forever.  As
someone who has lost a baby, I would have loved to have been able to
provide milk for my child, even just a little bit for a short time
period.  I have known women who have had a baby die who went on to
produce milk for milk banks, which helped them to feel like perhaps all
was not in vain.  I think this would be similar to donating a loved
one's organs.


What a difficult situation, for everyone.
