Denise, a mum in the 3rd trimester is very likely to be producing colostum,
which would be drawn out by the suction created by the Niplette. This would
cause the suction to be lost, ie it would fill up with colostum and fall
off. I don't know if this is actually the FDA's reason - they may have other
concerns, like potential infection? Perhaps someone in US may know about this.
