I probably missed the Lactnet email that included the link to this video.
Have you seen it??

Now, I am really annoyed. For a member of the medical profession to make a
video which compares this experimental piece of dung formula to breast milk
is disgraceful. How much money allows a doctor to sleep at night knowing the
harm that may be done to babies using his slick video misinformation?

I have heard other pediatricians say that formula fed babies will at least
have an artificial food which contains these valuable fatty acids. In
reality, we have no clue about the correct dose, the cofactors, the
interaction among these and dozens of other human milk constituents or
anything else. We might discover in a few years that infants were actually
HARMED by the clumsy addition of fatty acids, amino acids and other guesswork.

Doesn't anybody remember that formula makers had 20% too much protein in
formula (do they still?) because they included nonnutritive nitrogen in their
measurements and calculations?

Dr. Greene, and any other pediatricians who might link their sites to formula
companies (wink, wink) please reconsider what you're doing. Neither Lipil
promotion nor generic formula promotion complies with the WHO Code nor good
medical ethics. (One of these days, I'm going to screw up on MY web site and
end up looking like a real dope . . . in the meantime, I will stay on my
soapbox and hope for the best. If you catch me, email privately to receive a
free drjaygordon.com gym bag or hat . . .)

Let's all write a note to drgreene.com and let him know that there is still
no favorable comparison to be made between artificial baby milk and breast
milk.
