"2yo that is scheduled for tooth extraction on Thursday. 2yo is nursing
still,
extraction will require nitrous oxide and novacaine."
My first reaction is, why in the world would a 2yr old require anything more than novacaine?? My dd had a tooth break off right below the gum line when she had just turned 2. It was extracted quickly and easily with only a bit of novacaine. It's a baby tooth!!!! There is barely any root. The mom could certainly use Rescue Remedy as well and homeopathic arnica right afterward. Personally, I would find another dentist. IMO, one should never receive nitrous unless absolutely necessary. I am on a midwifery list where there was a very disturbing study posted a few months ago about the (perhaps) permanent impact on the brains and nervous systems of children exposed to nitrous.
