In the NICU where I delivered they also gave us the voluefeeds. They come
packages singly and sterile. While in the hosp they had us dump the contents
of sterile water (also from ross) and use the sterile caps for the milk. Then
when at home, they sent me home with plastic lids that needed boiled. before
I used them.
I couldn't pump directly into them, as they were only 2 ouncers, so I'd pump
a 4 ounce bottle per breast, divide that into 3-6 containter, depending, pump
a full again, divide again, and keep going until I had my 12 containers of
milk.
