Thank you so much for your kind reply.  I was so concerned about this baby
and mom for a few days.  I'm still not totally convinced that the doc is
fully aware of what those bf poopy diapers should look like, because mom
told me that the poopy diaper seen by the doc was only a little bit wetter
than the ones I saw - and the last one was extremely scant, barely the size
of my thumbnail and pretty dry.

Anyway, mom is very enamored of the value of medical folks' ability to
treat/educate/reassure her, that she's not as sure of the importance of
mother-to-mother support, so I hope she takes to heart my suggestion to
network with other mothers - in particular, LLL.
