Pat,
I understand the "Back to Sleep" mantra. I say it also, when I teach
babycare classes. Are you also telling them never to swaddle? I am
curious, as it seems to me that the extreme recommendation to lay babes
flat on their backs without swaddling or support is a problem for many
of my clients. These folks are literally frightened that if they swaddle
the baby in one receiving blanket for a couple of hours while they nap
or shower they are endangering his life.
