Just an update on the mom I worked with last weekend who delivered 28 week
twins 2 days after a breast biopsy. She began pumping on day 1 and was
expressing pink tinged breastmilk a day later, not surprising. MDs were
concerned but receptive to our advice to continue with gentle pumping. As of
today she is doing well. There is no more pink tinge to her milk. Her breast
feels comfortable and the incision is healing well. She is not having any
engorgement issues either. And milk supply is coming along well.
Thanks for the comments from all who helped with advice.
