Liz recently posted herself and Alexis Neely as possible resources with
breastfeeding related legal problems. I would like to add myself as
well. I live in Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia, which puts
me in the odd position of being in a state with no law concerning
breastfeeding (a proposed statute died in committee 5 years ago or so)
but outside a city with a good protective breastfeeding ordinance and an
official breastfeeding policy. In fact, I am debating taking a case
right now under Philadelphia's rarely used ordinance concerning a mom
whose son was expelled from a prestigious ballet academy because she had
breastfed him and his younger sister in the waiting area.
