Why not have mom nurse first on one side for 2 shots, then on the other side
for the other two? Maybe even 2 shots at the beginning of the exam, 2 at
the end. Yes, it would take a bit longer, but surely not enough longer to
matter, since it holds the potential for making the process *truly*
pain-free for the patient. (Those swabs they now use before novocaine in
dentistry also prolong the process slightly, but the whole idea is to
minimize discomfort, not minimize time. Maybe that's a line you could use
if you're questioned by office personnel?)
