I first used a small neighborhood lab, who knew what I did for a living.
When they stopped being able to make slides, I called the national labs
and asked them if they would be comfortable doing clinical photos. One
was very welcoming, and I have been using them since. They are very sad
that I have mostly switched to digital, but I still do use that 35 mm
macro lens for fast "sucking" sequences.
