Well not only is this lady breastfeeding......the baby was born breech, with no meds, and only the the father the nurse and the doc in the room. 

Yup, very normal, no bells and no whistles. Needless to say, I had a tear to shed and felt that TV had actually made a huge statement about birth.

Relating this to breastfeeding, after the birth Rachel was made to look very comfortable and not getting over the effects of surgical birth (a normal event for breech presentation). Which in turn must make breastfeeding much easier.
