I alway said simply--it may not be normal in our society to nurse a (insert age
here) year old, but it IS natural for our species.
Most people had to THINK about what I just said.
Of course, there was the old standby of "I dont' know, you'll have to ask her!"
Or, maybe 5 more minutes, but it could be for less.
Joylyn, who looks at her 4 year old and thinks "but of COURSE she's still
nursing, she's not even CLOSE to being old enough to wean. She's just a BABY!"
