IBCLCs exist in the UK - see http://www.lcgb.org/ but the majority
work in the public sector, or as part of the volunteer organisations,
not as private consultants.

There are four volunteer organisations in the UK. NCT's bf line is
0870 444 8708, but the others operate nationally, too.

This is usually the easiest way for a mother to get bf support if she
needs more than the statutory health services give her.
