Okay, a mom left a message about finding a quarter sized "bright" purple spot
on her breast. She does not remember bumping into anything or being hit by
anything. She has had a vaginal yeast infection, and was concerned about
thrush (but it doesn't look like that would be it). She left the message
while I was out on Friday evening. I did not get home until midnight, so I
am not returning the call until the morning. I am concerned about serious
infection, but for all I know the baby sucked the wrong part of her breast
during an a.m. feed! I would love to hear some theories on this one before I
call the mother back. -- Debbie
