I just finished the Phone-In show, actually that should be the "no phone-in" radio show. It is Remembrance Day here, and in the half-hour show, we only had ONE caller. (Well, at least we got one. The guest before me who discussed oestoporosis got NO callers). Following me was half-hour of open topic phone-in, one caller (male) said he was offended by NIP, and women should stay home or got to their cars or bathroom. A woman quickly phoned in to tell him to turn away, as did an older man.
Anyhow, it was a very safe and gentle introduction to live radio phone-ins. No callers meant more time for me to talk about the issues. Female host supportive and undertanding. I guess we Canadians are just too polite - or perhaps it is a non-issue here?
Thanks to Jodine Chase for her time spent coaching me - I felt prepared for anything! Oh well, maybe next time. ;-)
