In my practice I would watch and wait. What do the parents and sibs look
like, size-wise? How about growth patterns for sibs? I agree with Pat, I
would mix MCT oil in with cereal. Giving it straight runs the risk of
aspiration. We also know that older infants don't grow the ounce per day
that is more common in younger babies. What did the MD have in mind during
hospitalization? I think another opinion would be welcome.
