My local newspaper, which is not on the web, just reported that in the
US sealed beverage containers will now be permitted to be carried onto
planes. Sealed as in closed, not as in never opened. So a bottle of
breastmilk or formula, or a recloseable bottle of water or soda is fine,
but an open can or soda is not. They mentioned the breastmilk-drinker
case, and implied that this change in policy was a direct result.
It was an AP article, so it might turn up in one of the major online
papers.
