Apropos Ellen Shein's case:

1630 grams is over 3 lb. 8 oz. and a respectable weight at 32 weeks.
3800 grams is about 8 lb. 6 oz. which is above average for term in Norway.
That is why us metric types don't understand the concerns about this baby's
growth. The vitamin and iron parts, OK. But this baby is right on target
for age, so why the fear of getting it to the breast.

BTW, is this baby still hospitalized or is it at home?
