Gayle,
How about something simple like starting to pump, get a letdown and put baby
on the breast at that point? After several "good" sessions, baby may be more
agreeable to the breast. Rescue remedy is helpful, too, if mom is stressing
out over this and tenses up when she gets ready to feed. When she was
pumping, did she used paced feeding to keep baby from filling up too fast?
