I'm not a doctor, or an IBCLC, Kat, but the current picture you give
of this baby is one that I feel confident about saying would not be
considered to be a problem in the UK. There would not be any
suggestion that the baby needed hospitalising for tests.
This baby and mother sound as if they have done very well in
overcoming a difficult early start, and the baby is now growing and
feeding appropriately.
Is there any chance the mother could get a second opinion or a third?
