Heather is right when she says editors don't like it when you stop pulling punches.  I recently had a letter to the editor published on the new data re:  obesity and breast cancer protection conferred by bfg.  The paper was happy to publish the letter but they removed a sentence that said:  "When hospitals give free formula samples, mothers get the idea that the hospital does not want them to breastfeed."
