Don't know if this comes under the label of help, but my daughter would not
nurse lying for about 2 to 3 weeks after birth. Don't know why - natural
birth, no instruments, born very quickly (not much molding in her head), but
it took her awhile to figure out the laying down nursings.
Made night nursing a hassle since I had to get up (at least sit up in bed)
to nurse her in the cradle hold, every few I would try laying down
(sometimes after she started nursing I would slowly slide down the bed).
Then one day, she got it and night nursing became more restful.
