I am helping the mother of a 21 month old, still nursing frequently, who
plans to take Follistim, a recombinant form of FSH, as part of upcoming IVF
treatment. After searching various resources, there is not a lot of research
done on this drug's effects. Does anyone have experience or anecdotal
evidence on any possible effects of the drug on her current milk supply? It
is not listed in Hale, but I did find considerable information on google.com.
Thanks,
Beth Lichy, IBCLC
