If this mom is really interested in alternatives.. The "Alternative
Medicine" magazine just had an article on this very subject. Also I
would highly recommend that she read a bit about dietary affects and
perhaps go see a licensed Homeopathic practitioner.
I would like to say thank you to all of the kind people who sent me
notes of encouragement. My office will be open as of Monday, I still
need to get some of the business paper work taken care of and my
furniture moved in/around. But, it is going to work.
My plan at this point is to offer my services as an IBCLC, CE and Doula
as well as a handful of pertinent parenting goods. I am debating the
whole pump rental issue. We live in a small community with a Med. supply
place and an individual who both rent pumps. Not sure if it is even
viable.
Are there any goods that anyone HIGHLY recommends? I have Mothering
Magazine coming, and plan to have basic breastfeeding supplies and
slings. Am I missing anything? Oh, and a few books.
