I always thought the problem with rapid weight loss was the toxic levels in
milk rise. Something about the fat soluable toxins that we have been exposed
to will be dumped into the milk at higher levels with more rapid weight loss.
Is this out dated info? I think some women may have eating disorders..
anorexia? Did she manage to contol this until 2 minutes post partum? Is her
supply really decreased or is she obsessive about weight and talking about
supply once again brings the focus to her weight and how 'good' she looks?
Does she really want to breastfeed??? I have many moms who drop to their
pre-pregnancy weight very quickly (I secretly hate them since 10 years later
I am still working on the pregnancy weight, LOL :) ) but have no problems
with supply. I have some who are way to obsessed with appearance and not
nearly focused enough on their babies. Those are the ones who return to work
quickly and resume their 'normal life' just as fast. Some people never make
the shift to 'family life'. It is a bonding issue.
OK, my 4cents worth again!!!
