Yup, I've been getting lots of virus emails lately. Many of them are
coming with cryptic text and little grey squares, representing a file
that did not transfer properly.
Folks, keep your antivirus software definitions up to date, scan your
system regularly, and back up your hard drive every now and then!
I use a program from Hewlett Packard (my CD-RW manufacturer) to back up
my hard drive onto several cheap CD's every few months, and back up my
data files regularly. It's much faster than the old tape backup systems.
Especially if we use our computers for our practices, we need to act
like other businesses and protect our information.
