I am quite upset with this.  Her book Ella Enchanted is my dd's hands-down
favorite book.  I found a website with fan mail for this author from hundreds
of 10-12 yr. old little girls.  I am sick thinking that millions of girls at
just the age we want them to consider bfing have formed a deep-seated
impression that bfing is so archaic as to be considered caniballistic.  A
magical character by your favorite author puts it in such a snappy way while
establishing the character's basic personality!!  Aaarrghhh...

The publisher has says they will fwd snail mail if sent to the address below.
 You can bet I will be licking an envelope tomorrow.
