Subject: Isis vs. rental pumps

What are your thoughts on this and have you had experience with mothers
using an Avent Isis who are pumping only or attempting to establish a
milk supply with one?

Anecdotal experience only, N=1: A nurse who worked with me pumped using the
Avent Isis. She was working full-time and maintained an adequate supply of
expressed milk for her son for a full year. She did not use the pump to
establish supply though. This was following a 12 week maternity leave, milk
supply was well-established by then. I was surprised that she did as well
as she did, but perhaps for some women it works perfectly well.
