I, too, had very high hopes for the Whittlestone expresser, and have been
somewhat disappointed, but I have found a category of moms that it seems to
work well for: multip with a well established supply who reports great
difficulty pumping for previous child (and in one case for the current baby)
using pumps normally considered "very good" such as the Lactina or Elite, or
even a Classic. I don't mention it first except for these moms, although if a
mom asks about it I share the experiences of the moms I've worked with using
it, pro and con.
