Thank you, Patti, for your original post. And, thank
you, too, to Barb Strange for reminding us of it.
I missed the original, and I am glad to have the
opportunity to read it now.
If breastfeeding were truly considered a normal part
of life between mother and child, the question no one
asked Patti would be asked often -- until it no longer
needed to be asked.
I have heard similar stories at mother support
meetings. If only we could all stop "worrying" about
being caught advocating, and simply advocate. Not
only in the places where breastfeeding is happening,
but in the absence of breastfeeding.
