Ann Marie
It seems to me I read that a couple of years ago in information sent out
about Breastfeeding Week. I can't remember the group that send that
information out ;>(( But the information was positive for decreasing
domestic violence because of mothering hormone (oxycitocin). So bottom
line violence in the home was decreased.
Hope that helps you at least a bit.

Subject: relationship b/w breastfeeding and domestic violence ?
I have searched the archives and have not been successful finding what I
am looking for. I am trying to find research that there is a link
(positive or
negative) b/w breastfeeding and domestic violence.
Any help out there? Please email me privately as well as to the list as
I am in the midst of a four day lactation course (which is where this
question
arose) and I only reading personal email until the course in completed
on Monday eve.
Thanks!
