I have heard of this NUMEROUS times, and it is almost always a baby of 4-5
months. Including mine. The one thing that has been consistent in all the
cases I know of, = it is a phase. Just like the 3 - 4 month nursing strike,
baby will most likely gradually get back to other positions over the next
few weeks. It is hard for the mom because she feels she can't go anywhere!
In some ways it is just like a nursing strike if the baby refuses the breast
and cries when offered other positions. Reassure her that *most likely*
(with medical reasons ruled out) this will pass. So many of us have been
there!
