What worries me  about some statements recommending  at least 1 year,
and others saying at least 2 years, and specifically this difference
between America and the WHO, is that I wonder if it validates the myth
that many people hold dear that breastfeeding is still only really
necessary for poorer less developed countries. I know the work of the
WHO is not limited to these parameters but I think there are a lot of
people who do.
