I hope all of the learned people on Lactnet making comments about this joke
of an article will send letters to the editor of Lancet, ASAP.

Send your concerns about 1)size of study, 2)non exclusive BF (formula at
night early on), 3)4weeks of exclusive BF a joke, etc etc etc.

My personal observation with BF babies and asthma is that it seems to
develop later in life (if it is going to).  Also parents with asthma,  early
wheezing with RSV and atopic derm are markers.  I'm sure we could put
together impressive figures just using our cohort of 2000+ from Lactnet to
show just exactly the opposite!!!  Pat in SNJ
