Baby is about 7 mos. old. They have seen pediatrician plus 2 specialists for her allergies. Last week they did allergy tests and baby is allergic to almost ALL types of foods. Mom herself is exclusively bf (meaning no formula) and gives the baby rice ceral and some jarred baby vegetables. Mom herself eats a diet of rice, chicken and vegs; she avoids all foods they have found the baby is allergic to, including milk, beef, any processed fds, etc. Mom and allergist are extremely conscientious and mom has ben on diet of chix-rice-veg for 2 months. None of this seems to help. Baby has such severe rash/eczema from allergies, mom says she looks like a burn victim. (Baby wasn't with her today, so I didn't see the baby today.) Baby also gets antibiotic and steroidal cream for her skin. Baby has not had any formula up until now. Mom would love to keep breastfeeding, but doctors don't know what else to do to help this baby, and specialist suggested mom try weaning baby to Nutramigen form!

If the answer is in the archives, please tell me wher to look.
Thanks!
