I don't know if anyone else has put this idea forth yet, but I had a mom
with a baby with consistently green stools that lasted for weeks. We
ruled out foremilk hindmilk problem; eliminated dairy and were stymied,
until she mentioned she was almost out of her prenatal vitamins. These
were high in iron. Within 2 days after stopping the added iron and just
going to a normal vitamin/mineral tab., the stools were golden yellow.
They stayed that way from then on.

Subject: green stools
Regarding the green stools: As an anecdote, my third child had green
stools until I eliminated dairy from my diet. If I had something with a
little too much milk, the green stools returned. He also had a problem
with cow's milk in his own diet once he was weaned (at age 4). Kris
