I couldn't agree with you more Jeanette. Very well written - thank
you. The other facet I'd like to put in here is 'accountability'. The
IBCLCs I see who have trouble transitioning tend not to accept the
accountability of what they do either. There's always the doctor or the
midwife or the paediatrician to pass the responsibility on to. WE'RE the
experts in breastfeeding nutrition for infants - no other speciality!
