I totally agree- as a nursing mother, I would never attend a 'Nurse-in." The
goal may be to promote breastfeeding as "normal," but I'm afraid it may send
a very different, and unintended message. For those who already view
breastfeeding as lude, arcahaic, or inappropriate in public, I think being
targeted for a "Nurse-in" will only fuel & solidify these peoples' negative
impressions of breastfeeding. I agree that the BEST and most USEFUL way to
approach this situation is with factual information and legal
representation.
