I have seen these bags in a variety of shapes for a myriad of purposes.
Just about any dry grain will work. In addition to rice, I've seen flaxseed
and feed corn. The larger the bag, the more stitched divisions you need to
keep the seed distributed evenly, but not so tight that they don't move
within the bag or section of the bag.
They're ideal for use, frozen or heated, in breast care, or mom's aching
back, neck, shoulders.
