My thanks to all who took the time to respond to my request for info on
results of clipping mild tongue-tie. I just talked with the patient and her
NP agreed it was a mild case of tongue-tie but thought it wasn't interfering
and advised not clipping. I'm not going to push today but wait and see.
However, I thought the arguments in favor of clipping which you offered were
very salient and I believe it makes sense to clip mild tongue-tie where
breastfeeding problems exist to see if the release helps. However, I
haven't yet found someone who will do it...
Emphasis on the "yet"...
