There is an article on Reuters Health page that is headlined "People Born
In Autumn Live Longer, Study says."
In explaining a possible cause of this the spokesperson says that mothers
who deliver in the spring spend their last three months in winter with its
stresses.
Then she says, "When she stops breast-feeding and starts giving her baby
normal food, it's in the hot weeks of summer when babies are prone to
infections of the digestive system."
I wonder what "she" could do about that risk to her infant.
