She says the baby is fine, and the dropping was not
sudden...sometimes huge babies do drop down the centiles, though this
was a lot. I am glad she is taking her to the doctor tomorrow - the
doctor will be able to see if the baby is in basically good health,
though of course I can't guarentee the doc will pick up the bf
issues....though I think if she tells him the baby goes 14 hours he
will be surprised.

The mother thinks the baby doesn't want to feed, because she doesn't ask : (

It was news to her that it is unusual for babies to go this long
without being fed.

She didn't see it like that - she thinks the baby is happy and
healthy and a 'good' baby. Though there must have been something
niggling at her, or else why would she call me?
