Just reading thru the latest edition of "Perinatal Progress", a local
publication by the Northern Virginia HMHB coalition, ...Virginia House
bill179 passed; adds nurses to a list of med professionals who may donate
time and services to an approved clinic that does not charge or does so on an
ability to pay basis, .......those volunteering can receive a tax credit,
...so it seems that nurses who are wanting to volunteer and aspiring IBCLCs
who are nurses and need to accrue breastfeeding support practice hours
helping BF moms, can do so and get a tax credit.
