The Washington State Department of Health is seeking public comment on
the Women, Infants and Children nutrition program.  The department will
take comments about the program’s effectiveness as well as on the
specific foods provided to WIC clients.

 

Each year, the state’s WIC program provides services to more than
265,000 women and children; nearly half of the state’s babies benefit
from WIC.
