I almost stopped breastfeeding my first baby because of sore nipples 28
years ago. A friend had given me a jar a lanolin to "prevent" sore
nipples and I slathered it on right from the beginning. It was many
years later before I made the connnection between the sore nipples and
my allergy to wool.
When I first hear about Lansinoh I thought, "Yeah, right". But I used
it the first time upon the advice of an LC friend when I had a burn on
my arm. I was amazed how much it soothed the pain of the burn. We now
use Lansinoh in our household for lots of things and I have never had an
allergic reaction to it.
I have no financial interest in Lansinoh.
