Sadly, the main pediatric author Dr. Joan Meek is also an IBCLC, and she is
very much respected in the State of Florida. She was part of the committee
that determined that breastfeeding should take place for at least the first
year. She is one of our better allies. I am sure she is very disraught
about the Ross label.
