>Today while shamelessly perusing the latest People magazine about Paul

I haven't read the book yet but do know Harvey personally. He's a
pediatrician in Los Angeles and a tireless children's environmental
health activist. very pro-breastfeeding. very kind and
compassionate. We both worked on an on-line newsletter for
mothers-to-be and new mothers on the topic of protecting infants from
environmental hazards (a project for Children's Health and
Environment Coaltion.) Harvey knows a lot about lead and pesticide
exposure in infants and toddlers. Also indoor air quality.
When I travelled to L.A. as part of my book tour last fall, with my
newborn in tow, he volunteered to share some of his techniques for
calming babies with me. Happily, I didn't have to take him up on
this....but, consequently, I also still don't know what his ideas on
this topic are! Sandra
